Latest Twang CD Release: almost paradise, by Chris Charles folksinger

14 February 2008 - Twang Music Studios today announced the release of Almost Paradise , the latest album by anti-Nashville folk artist, Chris Charles. Featuring 15 songs written by his lifelong friend, Tim Otto, Chris Charles’ new album, Almost Paradise, combines his own country-folk-rock sound with the “wiser than his years” quality that is present in much of Otto’s catalog.

All the songs on this album were hand-selected by Charles to highlight the depth and breadth of character in Otto’s writing. Many, such as “Old Memories,” “Dashboard Jesus...” and “Good Love Gone Bad,” have never been released before. These and many others on this unique album have never been heard by the public.

Latest Twang CD Release: The Folksinger, by Chris Charles folksinger

25 November, 2006 - Twang Music Studios today announced the release of The Folksinger, the latest album by anti-Nashville folk artist, Chris Charles. The Folksinger is Chris' fourth album, and features 14 new and remixed songs. For this album Chris went in a more acoustic direction, leaving the drums behind on most of the songs. Although “I Don’t Want To Talk To A Machine” really rocks out, most of the songs on this album are done without a lot of production. Some are just one guitar and vocal. This is an album dedicated to the folksinging troubador who sings songs about things that matter.
