The Peacemakers Band, May 2004

Singer-songwriter Tim Otto joined forces with three of his closest musician friends to create this 60’s concept album. Recorded at Twang Music Studios in Portland, Oregon, the main vocal and rhythm tracks of this tribute to the 60’s were recorded live without any fancy effects that were not available to artists of the 60’s.

Rockin’ the studio with Tim were; bassist Chris Charles, drummer Brad Pharis, and lead guitarist Tony Floreno.

Some highlights:

  • “A Sad Eyed Beautiful Girl” A great rock song with a “Louie Louie” kind of feel to it.
  • That Girl You’ll Never Love” Their tribute to the doo-wop era.
  • Vietnam Foreign Correspondent” There's no way to describe this one. You just have to hear it. Perfectly captures that 60’s conflict from the view of a photo-journalist.
