Twang Music Studios, owned and operated by Chris Charles, offers recording, producing and publishing services at its studios in Portland, OR. Specializing in country, folk and rock styles of music, we utilize the latest equipment and recording methods to get just the sound you're looking for. Twang Music does not, however, offer recording contracts or "sign" artists. We don't want to own anybody, we just help independent artists produce their own recording projects.

All of our music is sold through CD Baby, an online music store for independent recording artists. These are the musicians that the big recording companies have prevented you from hearing for years. Album links on this site will take you directly to the CD Baby page for that album, but we highly recommend that you browse CD Baby for other great recording artists as well. Most songs on our albums are also available on many of the popular music download services, including Rhapsody.com, Napster and iTunes.
